Have a look into the Doku.Arts editions from 2008, 2007 and 2006.

With many sold out screenings, a fully booked seminar and lots of young people attending, Doku.Arts took a big step forward in it’s second Amsterdam year. During the dense festival programme (36 screenings and events in three days), we tripled the audience figures in comparison to 2008. 50 accredited guests and 31 filmmakers, producers, commissioning editors and artists from India, Iran, Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, USA, The Netherlands and Switzerland created an atmosphere of international exchange and inspiration. Highlights included honorary guest Agnès Vardas presentations of her films ("Tea with Agnès"), a seminar on Architecture and documentary and a reading of poems by legendary Iranian actor Jamshid Mashayekhi before the world premiere of To be and not to be, at the day of the Iranian elections.

Doku.Arts would like to thank all partners, filmmakers and especially our wonderful audience and moderators to have made this fourth edition a success!

The new selection process will start in December 2010. The Doku.Arts newsletter will keep you updated, please sign up here. Press reactions can be found here.
